Cades Cove

We decided to head to the mountains this past weekend to do a little hike and drive through Cades Cove.  The boys have been interested lately in how things were done in the "old days" so we thought showing them some of the houses and churches would give them some insight.

On the drive back, the car in front of us slammed on their breaks and pointed out the window.  We started looking and there was a black bear right beside the road!  I can honestly say that is the closest that I would like to be to a bear!

 I love living this close to such beauty!
