Thanksgiving

We had a WONDERFUL lowkey Thanksgiving.  We started the day with a nice walk with the boys; the weather could not have been better!  We headed to the Stubb's house for a nice dinner and some wild times.  The cousins had a GREAT time wrestling, climbing on their uncles, coloring, and being silly.  It was GREAT!!  I hope each and everyone one of you had a wonderful Thanksgiving!!!

Will's Surgery

Will had abnormally large tonsils and had been snoring and having some sleep apnea issues for a while.  We saw an ENT about 5 months ago and he said we would "watch" the tonsils.  They were a 3 out of 4 in size (4 being automatic tonsillectomy) at that time.  Over the next few months, his right tonsil grew and his snoring and sleep issues worsened.  We visited the ENT again in late October and Will had his tonsils and adenoids removed on November 8th.

I was a nervous wreck prior to the surgery but Will did FANTASTIC!!! When we talked to the doctor post op, we were told that Will's adenoids were obstructing 95% of his nasal passages.  No wonder he was snoring and restless!!!  The first night after his surgery, he did not snore at all!  The recovery has gone pretty well.  He didn't want to eat for the first couple of days but after that, he has been eating soft foods like a champ!  His favorites are macaroni and cheese, simply gogurt, and popscicles!!!

Feeling MUCH better!!!

Bill and I are so thankful that Will had the surgery!  We are looking forward to a more rested and peaceful Will!

As a tradition, we always go to Julie and Aarons to do some early Trick-or-Treating on her street. Judy and Pat always have special goodies for the kids and the kids love it! With the addition of Carter this year, we are up to 5 children!!

After Julie and Aaron's, we headed to our cul-de-sac for a street Halloween Party. We enjoyed food and fellowship before heading out to do some major Trick-or-Treating. The boys had a BLAST!!! Will jumped right in and knew exactly what to do. Alex was a little shy at first but it didn't take him long to figure it out.

Momma T was nice enough to hand out candy at our house while we were out. She even dressed up for the occassion!!! Thank you Momma T!!!
