Thanksgiving

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving this year. We spent the day at Aunt Julie's house; boy was it a full house. We were lucky enough to spend it with Pappa T, Aunt Julie/Aaron, The Pennington Family, The Vinyard/Sothman family, Papaw & Kay Kay and Aaron's brother Andy. The food and fellowship were fantastic. Here are a few pictures from the day.

Friends and Family

Mommy and I took a trip to Nashville in September to meet Marin. Marin's mommy and my mommy have been friends for MANY years and are looking forward to watching us grow up together.

Papaw and Grandma Carol came for a visit, in October, on their way to Florida. Here are a few pictures of us bonding.

The next picture is of Owen and me. Owen and I have known each other since our parent's met in birthing class. Owen was supposed to be born in February but decided he wanted to meet me early so he was born on January 10th (day after I was born) right down the hall. We have gotten together a couple of times over the past few months and are looking foward to playing together again soon.

The last picture is of Uncle Richard and I. He came for a week long visit. I was very happy to meet him; mommy talks about him a lot. :)

A Time Of Firsts

Will has been very busy lately. In the last month, he has learned how to pull up, cruise, make a few messes, and walk behind his push toy. He has definitely been keeping mommy and daddy on their toes!!!!

Will's First Halloween

We had a great time dressing Will up in his monkey costume. He looked so cute and thoroughly enjoyed wearing it. Our first stop of the night was to Gary and Kay's house to see Colton and Kenleigh. Colton was superman and Kenleigh was a precious black cat. Will wasn't so sure what to think of the costumes but finally warmed up and grabbed Kenleigh's ears. Our next stop was to the Dooley's house. Lori greeted Will at the door w/ his first Halloween treat - a toy telephone. Needless to say, Lori won the prize for the best gift!! Next, we went to Ro and Blair's house for a surprise visit. They were thrilled to meet Will and enjoyed spending a few minutes with him. Our last stop was Aunt Lulie's. Will always has fun at Lulie's house. Enjoy the pictures!!

Race For The Cure

Saturday, October 28, 2006 - The 10th Anniversary of the Susan G. Komen Race For The Cure was held today in Knoxville. Kim, Julie, and I were in charge of the Remember portion of the 10th Anniversary Tent. We created a timeline to illustrate how far the race has come. In memory of mom, we created the "Christy's Angels" program. For a $25 donation, individuals could send in a short bio and picture of a loved one who lost their battle with breast cancer and have it posted in the remember tent. The names were also read during the race. We received 10 letters/photos this year and to receive double that next year. Uncle Bobby and Uncle Mark came in from Texas to participate this year. Mom would have been so proud. Here are a few pictures from the Big Day!

FIRST TAILGATE

November 1, 2006 - Today we introduced Will to Tennessee football. We know, it is a little late, he is 10 months. :) Will enjoyed tailgating; especially drinking from mommy's water bottle and eating cheerios. The weather was perfect, we hope to tailgate again before the Kentucky game.
